I recently had the oddest thing happen: I visited a website using the Google search engine. I did not register for the site or log in, however, the next day, I rec'd an email from the domain that had the following message and link:

from support@www.gcreef.com to My real name was used here <my gmail address was used here> date Tue, Dec 22, 2009 at 8:29 AM subject Hello Friend

I checked my security software and found no problems with my machine. It appears that someone is tracking visitors to the website I visited and then using that domain name to send out spam emails. I don't quite know how this is being done, whether I'm being tracked or the website is being tracked. Anyone have any ideas?
